Proof

Yoshino points out something that I loved: the handkerchief, so maligned in this play as a poor substitute for the ocular proof of Desdemona's affair (although it nevertheless demolished Othello), ended up being a powerfull ocular proof. But it was for Emilia! The hankie made her realize of how everyone had been played by Iago, and this is the beginning of his demise. Go Emilia!
